shades 🤔 fills you in. Spawned by ex-Facebook and ex-Google tech founding fathers, shades researches every topic in the cultural zeitgeist, and then curates and summarizes the best shades of opinion they find.

The rad people at shades tagged me to design the logo for their rebrand—they were then called cf.—attached with a beautiful new app design and navigation flow. I used a funky and spunky mindset to approach the new logo, employing visual play with the word ‘shades’ and letting it translate on screen. Something that can speak on digital and OOH alike. Here’s what I came up with.
